Savings
- Pay less for the energy you use.
- Every renewable kWh, put to use.
- Stable machines, processes without stoppages.
The fourth mode
Storage made in Europe that makes the most of your PV, lowers your energy costs and protects your production without disconnecting from the grid.

Where to start
The switchboard, at 13:00

The active meter looks like a Sunday. The reactive one, like a Monday.
When the roof matches consumption, the active power crossing the transformer falls to almost zero. The motors’ reactive power still comes in from the street.
A unit that forms the waveform changes what the board does for a living. And all of this is measured with an analyser in your own switchboard.

The solution
The fourth mode, because there are four. Grid-following, switched hybrid and islanded forming already existed. The fourth, On-Grid Grid-Forming, forms the grid without disconnecting from it. The four modes, side by side
What your plant gains
01 Geatron Control Core
It imposes voltage and frequency with VSM control, like a synchronous machine. If the grid drops, there is nothing to switch over.
02 AC/DC modules
The bidirectional modules add their power to the grid’s when the process asks for it. And it can be expanded.
03 DC/DC converters
They discharge the battery at the peak so the meter stays within the contracted power.

It doesn’t switch over. It was already forming the grid.

Press “Simulate a grid failure” and watch the oscilloscope. At the top, in grey, the grid voltage. In the middle, in amber, what your machines receive with Geatron OGF. At the bottom, in red, a system that has to switch over to battery.

Who is behind it
AC/DC modules and DC/DC converters designed in-house.
VSM control runs on the Geatron Control Core, inside the unit. Not on a PC or in a cloud.
Six product generations since 2000.
Operation and maintenance by Kuantica, with an extendable 10-year warranty.
ISO 9001Quality management system
ISO 14001Environmental management system
EU declaration of conformity (ISO/IEC 17050-1) against grid-connection, electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and lithium battery standards: see the standards.
